The Journal of Public Interest Law and the Armenian Bar Association Present:

A Void in International Law? Human Rights in Unrecognized or Partially Recognized States

Loyola University New Orleans College of Law’s Journal of Public Interest Law (JPIL) cordially invites you and your colleagues to a Symposium entitled: A Void in International Law? Human Rights in Unrecognized or Partially Recognized States.

This Symposium will explore the humanitarian crisis for the ethnic Armenian community of Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) as a result of Azerbaijan’s complete military encirclement, months-long blockade, and, ultimately, the entire Armenian population’s forced migration out of Nagorno-Karabakh raise oft-ignored questions about the universality and effectiveness of non-derogable international human rights norms.
